Happy Friday everyone! I hope that your week was FUN and you are ready for a relaxing weekend. Speaking of fun, can we chat about these super fun numerical ordering pages that I created?
Did you know that students are more likely to retain information if they are engaged in an activity that goes with it? Did you also know that research shows if something is ascetically pleasing we are more likely to engage? Many people may think that when a lesson is cute there is no meaning other than the teacher wanting to create. Well, I beg to differ with you. Children need something that is pleasurable to the eye to catch their interest. Why do you think our classrooms are so vibrant and welcoming?
Math can be a tricky subject when it comes to making it look pleasing and exciting. That is why I created these various numerical order math pages. These math pages make it fun and exciting to learn how to count. These pages also meet the state standard for recognizing numerals #1-10. This is a win win situation for everyone.
I realized that there was a need for this product when I saw that my pumpkin math page was one of the best sellers in my Teachers Pay Teachers shop. I even get teachers purchasing the item in the summer! I thought to myself, there is no way people are planning for October in July…right?? I started to wonder if teachers were using the pumpkin sheet even in the summer because there happened to be a lack of this product on the website. With a quick search I found that there was not a lot. Sure, there are bundles that you can buy but you get A LOT of other things with it. Now don’t get my wrong because I think that is an awesome way to sell your resources but when you are looking for just ONE resource it can be hard to purchase something that is a little expensive.
